Expedition
DofE describe an expedition as a Journey with a Purpose.
The DofE Expedition section is the only section (apart from the Gold Residential) which must be completed as part of a team. The expedition is often a highlight of taking part in the DofE. We provide opportunities to complete walking expeditions at each level, but it is possible to join 'open' expeditions (advertised on the DofE website), especially if a participant wishes to complete an alternative form of journeying (cycling, canoeing, horseback etc).
