DofE kit list

Being able to safely complete the expedition section requires you to be suitably equipped. The DofE kit list, along with some videos about clothing, additional kit and packing a rucksack are available below. Please note that the 'recommended items' sponsor DofE and so a percentage of the sale of these items goes to support the DofE charity. If you are purchasing kit, it is more important to find the best, most comfortable fit.

When you have registered with DofE you will receive a card which provides a discount at the DofE recommended retailers. In addition to these, taking your card to BCH Camping in Bath and Trowbridge will enable you to receive a 20% on all full-priced kit.

Please note that school will provide some equipment such as maps, tents, stoves and gas. We also have a limited number of rucksacks available to borrow for a small fee.
